Our vision is to develop your underage athletes so that in 10 years time they will be playing at a senior level and hitting their potential.
Volunteer coaches are the lifeblood of every amateur club in ireland, we understand that without them there would be no u-10s, u-12s or u-14 players, without these numbers coming though there would be no club - what we do is help these age groups train to provide support for coaches and trainers to develop their athletes to their potential.
We have adapted the Long term athletic development (LTAD) model and tailored it for our specific sports in Ireland. We base our training on 5 stages of the LTAD model - each stage exposes the athletes to speed, agility, power, and conditioning movement training. This enables the coaches to work on ball skills and tactical skills during regular training.
U 12s - FUNdamentals
We develop the athletes physical capacities through fun and games
U 14s - Learn to Train
Here the athlete will learn all sports skills and fundamental movement
U 16s - Train to Train
We develop the athletes physical capacities and fundamental movement skills
U 18s - Train to compete
We optimise fitness preparation, multi sport skills and performance
U 20s - Train to win
We maximise fitness preparation and sport specific skills and performance
